Swim Analysis & Underwater Video Recording
Whether you are new to swimming or triathlon, or if you are an experienced athlete looking to raise your performance to the next level, we can help you be faster, build efficiency and be more comfortable in the water. In this Clinic, you will learn techniques to make your swim stroke the best it can be. We offer a workout, drills, helpful pointers on how to produce your strongest, most efficient stroke and each participant will receive video files with personal swim stroke analysis and suggestions for improvement.
The Swim Analysis & Underwater Videotaping Clinic will cover the following:
- The basics of the freestyle stroke
- Enhancing efficiency in the water
- Generating more power in your stroke
- Technique development
- Video of your own personal stroke from multiple angles with full analysis
Each participant will learn the most effective methods to develop your stroke specific to your needs, ability and body type. This limited-enrollment clinic provides a personalized focus which allows us to help you train RIGHT. The underwater video analysis of your swim technique will enable you to watch your own form and make corrections as needed.
Participants must be able to swim a minimum of 8 lengths of the pool (200 yards). Pre-registration is required. Personal videotaped stroke will be delivered to each participant along with critique and suggestions on how to improve development areas.
Transition Clinic
Transitions are often referred to as the 4th Discipline. Transitions are like free speed. If you can be smooth and efficient in your transitions, you can save valuable race time. In this clinic, we will show you the fastest, most efficient way to move from swim to bike and then again from bike to run.
This is a hands-on clinic where we will discuss how to quickly execute your transitions and then allow you time to set up and practice your own transitions. Please be sure to bring your bike, helmet, cycling shoes, socks, running shoes, sunglasses and race belt.
All participants must sign the event waiver.
Registration will be available on the day of the clinic.

Open Water Swim Clinic
Swimming in a pool is very different than swimming in open water. Come join us for a FREE open water swim clinic where you will swim in water where you can’t see to the bottom, without lane lines and where you will have other swimmers in your proximity. We will do some simulated open water swim starts and practice a variety of open water swim techniques designed to help you do your best at your next race!
This Clinic will cover the following:
- Feeling comfortable in the water – experience, conditions
- What to wear
- Water conditions – current, swells, temperature
- Warming up before the race – can you get in?
- The start and the finish
- Knowing the course – planning your route – sighting
- Creating your space
- Rounding buoys
- Breathing to both sides
- Drafting
Bike Maintenance Clinic
It’s time to get ready to ride outside!!!
Do you need to learn (or have a refresher) on:

Then this clinic is a MUST NOT MISS!
Bring your bike. We will have you practice changing your own tire. Bring the tools you carry on your rides (you do carry tools, right?) and get ready to learn!
