While there are many free resources/training plans available, none of them can compare to the effectiveness of hiring a professional coach to work with you every step of the way. Tri Right utilizes many items to develop each training plan to the individual athlete taking into consideration many factors including the athlete’s experience, goals, lifestyle and available training time. Before we begin a program design, each athlete must complete the Athlete Profile Form to help us customize the program to suit your needs. Once the Athlete Profile Form is completed, we will schedule a call with a coach to further discuss your background and goals, answer any questions you have and see if Tri Right Coaching is a match for you. Our Customized Coaching Program includes:

  • Weekly, detailed, customized, individual workouts
  • Regular and unlimited communication via phone, email, text and/or video conferencing
  • Review of performance and goals as necessary
  • Initial mini-swim stroke video analysis
  • Equipment evaluation and recommendations
  • Consultation on nutrition requirements for both regular daily training and race day
  • Race strategy and instruction on race execution for optimal result

$249 per four week cycle

Triathlon Swim Instruction

 

For a majority of triathletes, the swim is the biggest weakness.  Whether you are looking to learn how to swim, need help making a few technique improvements, develop swim efficiency or improve swim speed, Tri Right can help.  Our one-on-one swim instruction package includes the following:

  • 5 forty-five minute one-on-one lessons
  • Overall analysis of your stroke
  • Videotaping from multiple angles in each session
  • Discussion and explanation of each development area
  • Explanation and breakdown of various drills beneficial to the athlete’s particular stroke
  • Customized workouts after each session designed to provide the optimal result in the shortest amount of time
  • Lessons can be spaced out based on athlete availability and amount of swim practice between each lesson

$429 for five sessions

3 Minute Swim Coach

 

The 3 Minute Swim Coach is an inexpensive alternative to one-on-one lessons.  Just submit three short videos of your swim:  one from the right side, one from the left side and one swimming directly toward the camera.  All three videos should total 3 minutes or less.  The videos can be taken from above the water, below the water or both!  Whether you are in our backyard or across the country, the 3 Minute Swim Coach can help!

For just $99, you will receive:

  • Feedback on the overall stroke from Coach MJ
  • 2 tips on technique for improvement
  • Suggested drills to implement in future workouts
  • One follow-up video review

 

Rock Your Triathlon

 

Rock Your Triathlon is a revolutionary way for you to prepare for your triathlon season.  We have designed an online course that will walk you through the steps on creating your own, personal, customized training program.  The problem with online plans or standardized plans is that there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to triathlon training.  Each of us has different strengths and limiters.  We have different nutritional needs, different lifestyles, schedules and goals.  While hiring a triathlon coach is ideal, not everyone has the budget for such an expense.  Rock Your Triathlon was created to fill that middle gap – to provide you with the tools to make any training plan your own – while adding the assistance and support of a professional coach.

Lactate Threshold Testing

 

Lactate Threshold is the maximum steady state effort that can be maintained without lactate continually increasing.  Knowing your lactate threshold is important to know in order to ensure you are training effectively.  The Lactate Threshold (LT) test involved taking blood samples while increasing intensity.  The results are then used to accurately pinpoint your Heart Rate zones.

Tri Right offers Lactate Threshold testing for both the bike and the run and includes a chart with the athlete’s results.
