Have someone in your life that is obsessed with triathlons? Finding gifts for them can be hard – they tend to already spend a good deal of money on their sport and already have the gear they need for race day.

Here we came up with a list of ten gift items, and we’re sure the triathlete in your life doesn’t have every item on this list.

With Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday sales in a couple weeks, it’s time to start making your lists – and you’ll find some awesome ideas on this list.

  1. RACE BELT
A race belt is used to attach a bib number.  The race belt makes it easy for a triathlete to quickly snap their bid number on for their run. Two brands are Sport2People belt and Zoot race belt.
  2. COMPRESSION SOCKS
Research proves that recovery is better with compression socks. These Physix Gear Compression Socks are very reasonably priced and highly rated on Amazon.  If you’re buying for someone who takes their compression socks seriously, perhaps you’ll want to see if they prefer a specific brand.
  3. TRIATHLON INSPIRED JEWELRY
Whether it’s a bracelet or pendant necklace, triathlon inspired jewelry are great gifts. This necklace contains the three triathlon sports as a silhouette along with a pendant that says “she believed she could, so she did.”  If this necklace isn’t your style, there are a ton of different options on Amazon and Etsy.
  4. IMPERFECT PRODUCE SUBSCRIPTION
Busy triathletes who focus on quick carbs for fuel and quick protein for recovery might find it challenging to include their required servings of fruits and veggies. Imperfect Produce delivers the mis-shapen or over-harvested fruits and veggies that grocery stores won’t accept. These “ugly” pieces of product are shipped directly from farms and delivered right to the customers’ front doors (and they cost nearly 30% less than grocery stores).
  5. TRAVEL-SIZED TORQUE WRENCH
Torque wrenches are crucial to triathletes and their bike maintenance.  If your triathlete has made the investment in a carbon frame, seat tubes and/or other components, then you definitely want to consider getting them a torque wrench.   If something goes wrong during a race, it’s a blessing to have a torque wrench handy because it’s a hassle to find a mechanic at the race site.
  6. NORMATECH® RECOVERY PUMPS
This gift is expensive, but it’s a definite winner. These Normatech® recovery pumps zip up over both the legs and deliver an intense and scientifically-controlled measure of compression to the legs.  This helps aid in recovery for fatigued muscles, utilizing the “compressed air to massage your limbs, mobilize fluid, and speed recovery.” This gift lasts forever and is just as good – if not better than a massage – it never has to be scheduled!
  7. NEW WAVE SWIM BUOY
If you know a triathlete who ever does open water swimming by themselves then they need one of these. The New Wave Swim Buoy straps to the body and floats behind you to alert boats of their presence.  This present could save a life!
  8. TRACER360
If the triathlete in your life ever trains outside in the dark, this gift is a must have. The Tracer360 is a safety light with 6 different light colors and 5 different modes. The best part about the Tracer 360 is how comfortable it is.
  9. TIM TAM POWER MASSAGER
Resembling a power-tool more than a massager, this power massager delivers 2,000 hits a minute. It helps increase blood flow, release stored lactic acid and break down knots. There is no better massage/recovery tool out there in my opinion.
  10. QUICK TIE LACES
Most triathletes will do anything to shave 20 to 30 seconds off their final time.  Quick tie laces –   Yankz will help them do that and they have a lot of great colors!

Triathletes may be difficult to buy for, but hopefully these gift ideas will help you find the perfect gift for the triathlete in your life.
